Every year, over 1,100 children gather at the Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale where physically challenged youth are given the exciting opportunity to participate in competitive sports and recreational activities adapted to best suit their abilities. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, as well as ribbons, are awarded to athletes for their accomplishments in a variety of events including Track, Field, Archery, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Wheelchair Basketball.
