Improving Quality of Life for People With Disabilities

BETHPAGE — Hundreds of wheelchair-bound residents attended the fourth annual Independence and Mobility Fair on Friday, which focuses on providing a better quality of life for people who have had serious injuries or those born without the ability to walk unaided. People in attendance learned about everything from finances to functionality of the latest products designed to help individuals who are confined to wheelchairs.
