Meet The Team

Carl has been with Bussani Mobility for over 15 years. During that time, he has brought a new dimension of ideas and solutions into the automotive adaptive industry. With 25 years of experience in the durable medical equipment and rehab industry, he has a unique perspective that combines various products to achieve the ultimate goal of driving independence for customers.

Carl utilizes an approach that focuses on the entire mobility picture of the individuals he serves. His specialty is electronic driving controls, turning automotive seats, and unoccupied wheelchair and scooter lifts. Carl has also worked on several large development projects, including a fully equipped handicap accessible vehicle that appeared on the NBC Today Show, and two prototype handicap accessible NYC taxis during the Celebration of the 100th year of the NYC Gasoline Powered Taxi in 2007.

In his current position since 2006 as a Mobility Specialist, Mike enjoys helping individuals and families regain control over the transportation challenges they face.

He is also involved with The Miami Project, which is dedicated to finding more effective treatments and ultimately a cure for spinal cord injuries. And, Mike volunteers at the Nassau Aviators, a wheelchair softball team that plays games against other wheelchair teams, and where able-bodied teams get into wheelchairs to compete. Mike says that that events are a lot of fun and once the games begin, it is easy to forget that the game is being played by people with disabilities…they are all just athletes playing the game!

Darlene coordinates our rental fleet, handles customer service, and supports our staff out of our Bethpage office

Dot joined the Bussani Mobility Team in 2006 with diversified experience in the office equipment industry as a Service Coordinator and Director of Sales and Marketing. She began her career at Bussani as a front desk receptionist, scheduling appointments, generating repair work orders and billing for the Service Department. She soon transferred to the Sales Department as Administrator, where she is responsible for maintaining the Bussani Dealership Police Book (which records all incoming and outgoing vehicles), as well as assisting the sales team and customers by coordinating financial documents and securing NYS DMV registrations and titles for all vehicles. In addition, Dot organized the Bussani Mobility Independence & Mobility Fair for several years.

Eileen works in our Service Department, assisting with the administrative details of mobility installations and vehicle service performed for Bussani Mobility customers.

As a driver for Bussani Mobility, Ulises transports our vehicles to and from our store locations and assists our customers with pick-up and drop-off services.

Denise manages our marketing and publicity initiatives. She has 30 years of experience in creating multi-channel programs including marketing collaterals, web sites, content marketing, video marketing, advertising, publicity, and special events — all designed to help the people who most need our products find us.

With over 35 years of automotive and finance experience, Elway Sattar has an ongoing commitment to maintaining integrity and superior ethical and professional standards at all times and in every business transaction. Elway ensures that he takes all the time necessary to evaluate your needs and recommend the best options for you and your family.

Shalom has been in the auto industry for over 10 years. At Bussani Mobility we rely on her administrative skills to make sure the information related to each opportunity is complete and accurate. The high pace and demand for perfection is what motivates Shalom.

I started to work on cars when I was 13 years old at my father’s shop. When I graduated from high school I decided to go on a different path and went to college for Marketing and Business administration. I work in that field for 10 years.

When I decided to come this country in 2004, I spent a month with my brother at his shop in Lindenhurst. That was when I decide to go back to work as a technician. I have been working as a technician for more than 15 years.

Jordan has an extensive background in luxury automobile and real estate sales. Now with Bussani Mobility as a Mobility Specialist, he enjoys being able to use his skills to assist people with special needs.

Joe is a Service Technician at Bussani Mobility. A well-trained professional in mobility installations and service, he helps to keep our customers safe on the road.

As the Administrative Assistant in our Mamaroneck office, Stephania supports the day-to-day needs of our customers and staff.

As the Administrative Assistant in our Smithtown office, Alerie supports the day-to-day needs of our customers and staff.

Steve works one-on-one with our customers to find the right accessible vehicles to meet their special needs and budget. He is based out of Bussani Mobility’s Smithtown location.

As a Commercial Sales Representative at Bussani Mobility, Nick is responsible for driving sales across the commercial product range, as well as maintaining customer relationships and educating clients as a certified product safety trainer. He also brings over ten years of experience in the insurance industry, including work with insurance claims, underwriting, auto damage and investigation.

Matt has been in the automotive industry for over 25 years as an NYS inspector, automotive electrical expert, and automotive computer expert. He is fully trained in the automotive mobility industry.

Alex is a Service Technician at Bussani Mobility. A highly trained professional in mobility installations and service, he helps to keep our customers safe on the road.

Now with Bussani Mobility for seven years, Christopher is a mobility technician with expertise in all types of hand controls, mini-van service and repairs, as well as Bruno products.

Dan has been in the Bussani Mobility business for what he says seems like a lifetime. In fact, the company is older than he is. Ever since he was a young boy of about 7 or 8 years of age, Dan knew he wanted to be part of the family business. But his father and the company’s Founder, John Bussani, made it clear that it was not going to be something that was simply handed over without hard work.

Dan got started in the shop as a mechanic doing installations and repairs in the early 90s. After four years, he moved into sales. Later, he began managing the retail location. Over time, the Bussani business model evolved and the company expanded into new opportunities and locations. At that point, Dan took on his next position as Vice President, where he was responsible for overseeing all the activities and operations of the business.

Today, as CEO & Co-Owner of Bussani Mobility, Dan oversees and directs all retail and commercial sales operations for the company’s three locations. He is also responsible for maintaining industry partnerships and alliances. He continues his father’s heart-felt commitment to helping people living with disabilities to get mobile and live independently.

Dan is Chief Operating Officer and a Co-Owner at Bussani Mobility. He has served thousands of people with disabilities during his 15 plus years in the mobility industry, helping them enjoy their independence by securing the right accessible vehicle for their needs. He oversees the company’s After Sales Division including rentals, auto body and the full automotive and mobility service shops at Bussani Mobility’s three New York locations.

Stephen is a Co-Owner at Bussani Mobility. As CFO, he oversees the planning, implementation and control of all financial activities of the company. He is responsible for accounting, finance, forecasting, operations, legal, and human resources.
