Fires in vehicles present special challenges for both detection and suppression. Road grime, dirt and airflow can create unpredictable environments that can be harmful to most automatic fire suppression systems — and these threats can make it difficult to extinguish a vehicle fire.
The Firetrace system was specially designed to work inside vehicles. So, when a fire is detected, its unique polymer composite tubing bursts releasing its extinguishing agents – and the fire is suppressed much faster than it would be using manual suppression.
“No one wants to think about getting into an accident or a car fire, but sometimes these things do happen.
